Bug? Field Textarea max length 324? was created by Robert Rafai
I Created an Component for Joomla 2.5 with an Textarea, but if i want to add a new item, it don't save the item if the Text ist longer than 324 Character.
Shorter text are saved without problems
If i try to save (Save-Button, not Save+Colse), i'am redirected to the overview/listview (no error is shown)
Same problem if i want to update an existing item.
I tried to change from textarea to JEditor /Editor(WYSIWYG), same "bug".
DB is not the problem, it has correct Text field and i can edit it with other programms like HeidiSQL.

Hi Robert,
I have tried your component and it looks that the issue is not happening any more. Actually the field is a text field, so it will store up 64K charaters.
