1. Agreement
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Duck Meets Goose LLC, operating as Component Creator (“Component Creator”, “we”, “us”), and the individual or entity accessing or using the Component Creator website, software, or services (“User”, “you”).
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Component Creator platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
You must be at least 16 years of age, or have verifiable parental or guardian consent, to use the services. Access to the services is void where prohibited by law.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the services at any time for violation of these Terms or applicable law.
2. Modification of Terms
Component Creator may update or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the website and/or email notification to registered users.
Continued use of the services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Failure to review updated Terms does not invalidate their applicability.
3. Services and Licensing
Component Creator provides a subscription-based software platform that enables users to design and generate Joomla components.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the services at any time without liability.
All intellectual property rights in the Component Creator software, platform, and underlying technology remain the exclusive property of Duck Meets Goose LLC or its licensors.
Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the software for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell access
- Use the software in violation of applicable law
Unless expressly authorized in writing, no rights are granted beyond those stated herein.
4. User-Generated Content and Output
Content, data, or configurations created by users through the platform remain the property of the user or applicable rights holder.
Component Creator does not claim ownership over user-generated output and assumes no responsibility for how such output is used, deployed, or modified.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring that generated output complies with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and third-party rights.
5. Custom Development Services
Any custom development, consulting, or professional services referenced on the website are not part of the Component Creator subscription service.
Such services, where offered, are provided independently under separate terms and arrangements and are not processed, delivered, or supported as part of the subscription platform.
6. Payments and Pricing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance using the payment methods made available at checkout.
Component Creator reserves the right to modify pricing, plans, or features at any time. Users will receive reasonable notice of material pricing changes via email or website notification.
Failure to cancel a subscription prior to renewal constitutes authorization to charge the applicable renewal fees.
7. Refund Policy
Component Creator offers a 30-day refund policy for paid subscriptions, subject to the conditions below.
Refunds are available only if:
- The request is made within 30 days of purchase, and
- The user has not downloaded any generated components or used premium support entitlements
Once a component has been downloaded or premium support has been used, the subscription is considered consumed and is non-refundable.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable processing period.
8. Account Termination
Users may cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not retroactively refund previously paid fees, except as expressly provided under the Refund Policy.
Component Creator reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion, including for violation of these Terms, unlawful use, or abuse of the platform.
Where an account is terminated by Component Creator without cause, any unused prepaid subscription period may be refunded at our discretion.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the platform to:
- Violate any law or regulation
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
- Distribute malicious code or harmful content
- Facilitate illegal, abusive, defamatory, or fraudulent activity
- Harvest or collect data about other users without authorization
You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account, including use by third parties.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Component Creator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Use of the services is at your own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Component Creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to the use or inability to use the services.
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the applicable subscription period.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
