Hello,
Am I correct in understanding that there is no way to test your J4 support without a premium account? Even a 1-table test component needs an upgrade before build?

Well....
Nearly 4 weeks(!) without a reply to this very simple question tells me everything I need to know about this vendor.
I've taken the time to simply look over J!4 a bit more closely and coded the component I needed from scratch instead.

We do not actively monitor the community support forms, sorry we have not seen this question.
You are correct that all Joomla 4 features is currently restricted to our premium users for now. Once Joomla 4 is released properly we will also be releasing a free version of our Builder for Joomla 4. We have been working very hard on the Joomla 4 compatibility and things are running fairly bug free for now. But it has been a bumpy road getting there.
Anyway... if you have questions in the future that you need us to see, please email us. I am happy that you managed to build what you needed by coding from scratch. As we are very much in Beta with our functionality, that might have been the recommended approach under all circumstances.
We will try to monitor the forums a bit more in the future. A change in personnel have meant we kind of forgot to reassign this task. Once again, sorry for the frustrating experience.
